In My Camera Bag:

Nikon D600 (D610) - My full frame camera.  I made the leap from the D7000.  I've love this camera, it has shot weddings, newborns, my daughter, landscapes, everything.  I listed the D610 because there was a manufacturing issue with the D600.  Many photographers found oil spots on the camera sensor.  My camera really never had the problem but the D610 was the new release from Nikon claiming they had fixed the problem.

  • Nikon 50mm 1.4
  • Nikon 85mm 1.8

Nikon D7000 - A more affordable option and a great camera to learn how to shoot in manual mode.  This is not a full frame sensor but a good starter model.

Panasonic Lumix GX7 - We fell in love with the Panasonic line of cameras when we saw them at the vendor trade show at PPA's Photography conference, Imaging USA.  We specifically bought this camera for it's ability to do video and I really wanted a camera that was good quality but compact.  Not only do I love the retro design, it fits in my purse with quality images to boot.  Many of my blog images are taken with my Panasonic.

In My Craft Closet:

Silhouette Cameo - I have an older model with actual buttons on the front instead of the touch screen, but I would get the latest version if you're looking into a cutting machine.
